In 2000, Mr. Lightle joined Urban as a cad draftsman and swiftly advanced through Urban’s ranks. Realizing the value that sound land planning practices and innovative landscape architecture ideas bring to the array of fields within land development, he attained his Bachelors of Landscape Architecture with high honors while simultaneously working in Urban’s newly formed Landscape Architecture Department. By 2011, Mr. Lightle was a Land Planner, licensed Landscape Architect, and certified Arborist. Today, he brings all his experience and expertise to provide Urban’s clients with high quality designs and attentive responsiveness. More specifically, Mr. Lightle assists Urban’s clients by creating and processing residential, commercial, institutional, and mixed-use plans for public and private projects in accordance with the ever-evolving regulations and in harmony with the ever-changing landscape of the Washington, DC metropolitan region. Senior Associate Pete began his career with Urban in 2003 and has extensive experience working in the Northern Virginia area, with a focus in Reston and throughout the rest of Fairfax County. He has successfully managed projects ranging from large-scale marquee developments to small infill sites throughout Northern Virginia. He is especially well-versed in residential, mixed-use, and K-12 applications in Fairfax County and Loudoun County, Virginia.
